How to start transferring your stock portfolio to HeyTrade
Transfer form and portfolio statement
Download and fill in the portfolio transfer form, indicating the securities you want to transfer, their ISIN, ticker, and the market on which they are traded. You will also need to obtain a portfolio statement from your home broker.
Authorization and signature
It is important that on both the form and the portfolio statement you sign the following authorization paragraph. The form already provides the text, but on the portfolio statement, you can add it by hand and send us a scanned copy or a photograph of the document. If you prefer, you can also use a tool like Adobe Acrobat to edit and sign the documents.

Add the average purchase price
It is also important that you provide us with the average acquisition price of the assets to be transferred, in euros. This information will allow you to accurately visualize the performance of your portfolio once the securities have been transferred to HeyTrade.
FAQs
Why do I have to send a portfolio certificate to request a transfer?
This is a requirement of your existing broker. To process the transfer, we must present them with an official document issued by them. This document can be a portfolio certificate, a position certificate, or another document showing the name of the account holder (which must match the HeyTrade account), the CVV, and the securities to transfer. Screenshots are not valid.
Can I do a partial transfer of my stock portfolio?
Yes. You can request a total or a partial transfer. If you do not want to bring all your shares, mark with an X the securities that you want to transfer in the portfolio certificate and indicate this in the authorization paragraph.
Why is it necessary to indicate the ISIN and the market?
Keep in mind that there are shares that, despite having the same ISIN, they are listed in different markets. This information allows us to identify the specific security you want to transfer.
What is the average purchase price in euros used for?
We record your shares in our app at the average purchase price once they are transferred to HeyTrade. This way, you will be able to accurately see the performance of your portfolio in our app. If you do not have this information, we will record the securities with the price of the day the transfer was settled, or the previous day’s closing price.
What happens if I want to transfer an asset that is not included in HeyTrade’s catalog?
You can request the addition of an asset to our catalog by writing to support@heytrade.com. Our operations team will study the feasibility of adding it in the short term so that the transfer can be processed. If this is not possible, we will ask you if you wish to proceed with a partial transfer of your portfolio.
Can I transfer portfolios with more than one holder?
No, at the moment we do not have accounts with dual ownership.
